Our client is currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor on a temporary to permanent basis, working in Sunderland.

We re seeking a Maintenance Operations Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and reliability of our production and test equipment. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring minimal equipment downtime and maximum operational efficiency in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of technicians responsible for repairing and maintaining production and test equipment
• Oversee and improve preventative maintenance programmes and procedures
• Schedule and coordinate manufacturing maintenance activities
• Select, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and reliability across operations

What You ll Bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent as a minimum education requirement
• 4 6 years experience in maintenance operations, including supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and technical troubleshooting
• Proven ability to lead, develop and support a high-performing technical team
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
