Production Planner

At STEM Recruitment Solutions we are working with our client who are looking to recruit a Production Planner based in Glasgow. Key aspects of the role will include: Review forecasts, orders and liaise with sales team to determine customer requirements Develop understanding of materials, costs, manufacturing equipment, and the size of workforce needs to manufacture our products Create visibility and manage structure related to material and labour lead times to ensure customer delivery times are met Develops a production plan detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date Liaise with procurement, production support teams and maintenance employees to ensure all workers, materials, and machinery will be available when required Optimise the use of, and alignment with, the company existing and planned ERP system for planning and reporting. Continual monitoring of the Production Plan's progress to ensure it's on track. Highlighting and troubleshooting with the team, any problems that occur during production, including materials / staff shortages and machinery malfunctions Creation and communication of the Production Plan performance to the internal stakeholders daily / weekly / monthly. Analyse and prepare reports about planning process performance that suggest ways to improve efficiency Key requirements Good understanding and working knowledge within cleanroom or GMP environment Be able to work independently and under pressure Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Have good problem-solving skills and have the ability to make quick, effective decisions Strong IT systems experience and competence (Excel, reports, databases, ERP) Ability to prepare and communicate realistic and detailed production plans STEM Recruitment Solutions Ltd operates as both a Recruitment Agency and a Recruitment Business.
