Reporting & Reinsurance Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 + benefits

We're supporting a global insurance network with the appointment of a Reporting & Reinsurance Analyst to join their London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial reporting skills and an interest in employee benefits, multinational insurance, or reinsurance.

You'll be part of a high-performing team responsible for delivering financial insights to global clients, managing reporting cycles, and supporting reinsurance and pooling operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing detailed client reports covering premiums, claims, loss ratios, and programme performance (pooling or captive structures)
  • Collecting, validating, and analysing financial data from a global network of insurance providers
  • Explaining trends and variances to internal stakeholders and multinational clients
  • Supporting cession and claim recovery processes for reinsurance clients
  • Managing dividend settlements and deficit offsets for pooling clients
  • Attending client meetings to provide data-driven insights and answer reporting queries
  • Collaborating with underwriting, sales, and client management teams to ensure consistency and quality
  • Helping improve internal systems and reporting processes

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in insurance reporting, financial services, reinsurance, or employee benefits analytics
  • Solid understanding of claims, premiums, loss ratios, and financial reporting processes
  • Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working across international teams or with multinational clients
  • Knowledge of pooling or captive insurance models (preferred but not essential)
