The Role:
As a Welsh-speaking Nursery Assistant, you ll be helping nurture curious minds, spark creativity, and support early development all while speaking the language of the land! Whether it s through stories, songs, or snack time, you ll be an essential part of each child s early journey.
Your day-to-day might include:
- Supporting children in play and structured learning
- Communicating confidently in Welsh throughout the day
- Helping with playtime, snacks, and plenty of paint!
- Working closely with nursery staff to keep things running smoother than a bedtime lullaby
What You ll Need:
- Minimum of 6 weeks' experience working with children (in any setting formal or informal)
- Fluent Welsh speaker (your lullabies and Lego instructions are legendary!)
- Enhanced DBS (Don t have one? No prob we ll help you sort it!)
- EWC registration (or the willingness to register)
- Bags of enthusiasm, patience, and creativity (glitter optional, but encouraged)
