We re working in partnership with a warm and welcoming school in Gosport who are looking for a nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join their team. If you re passionate about supporting young children to thrive emotionally, socially and academically we d love to hear from you! Contract: Full time September 2025 start Salary: £13 - £15 per hour (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities: Supporting children s learning and development through a mix of child-led and adult-initiated activities Encouraging independence, curiosity and social confidence in every child Helping to establish clear routines that promote calm, consistency and a sense of security Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework and classroom ethos Observing, recording and contributing to the assessment of children s progress Supporting children with additional needs where required Providing personal care and promoting wellbeing throughout the day Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, confidentiality and professionalism What We re Looking For: A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (preferred, but not essential) Experience in a nursery or early years classroom setting A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach, with a good sense of humour!
