Role Overview: As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the daily lives of Looked after Children, providing care, support, and guidance. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create individualised care plans and implement therapeutic interventions. Your patience, empathy, and strong communication skills will help you manage challenging behaviours and support the children's emotional and developmental needs.
Shifts are long days. 1-2 Sleep ins per week. There is flexibility around sleeps, it's not neccesarily a deal breaker if you are not able to commit to these. This is why there is a wide salary range.
