This role will be responsible for managing the technical and financial performance of diverse multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across Scotland, the UK, and globally, ranging from city-scale masterplanning to campus and building-scale development infrastructure.

The role
- Manage the delivery of multidisciplinary projects, balancing demands and priorities, while reviewing civil infrastructure design from project proposition through to construction. Plan project resources and finances, and monitor financial performance.
- Provide expert advice on infrastructure strategies, policies, and best practices to clients and project teams.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business development and service expansion.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant policies, sharing knowledge with colleagues and clients.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop innovative, sustainable solutions for complex urban challenges.
What you need to succeed
- Experience in successful multidisciplinary project delivery, with the ability to manage and motivate teams, and excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and a desire to lead continuous quality improvement.
- Experience overseeing AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and MicroDrainage.
- Membership in a relevant professional institution.
- Strong technical background in urban development and infrastructure design projects.
- Proven track record in leading a technical specialism in core infrastructure disciplines (Highways, utilities, or Sustainable Drainage).
