Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisor
Pay Rate: £13.57 per hour
Location: Sheldon, Birmingham
Hours: 15 hours per week, term-time only (Monday Friday, 10:30am 1:30pm)
Smart Education is recruiting for a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to support a specialist primary school in Sheldon, Birmingham. This inclusive school caters for children aged 2 to 11 years with a wide range of complex and profound needs, including Hearing Impairment (HI), Physical Disabilities (PD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Visual Impairment (VI).

Must have experience working in a SEN school
A calm, caring, and consistent approach
Confidence in assisting pupils with complex physical, sensory, and communication needs
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
Role duties:
Support pupils during lunch with eating, mobility, and communication
Encourage positive social interaction in a nurturing environment
Assist with personal care as needed
Promote pupil safety and emotional wellbeing throughout the lunch period
Follow school guidance on care plans and communication strategies
Work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure consistency
