About the Role

The Estimator will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across London and the South East.

Working closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams, the Estimator will analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to compile detailed cost plans. The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple tenders simultaneously.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects

• Reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications

• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and value engineering options

• Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings as required

• Working closely with the commercial and project teams to ensure cost accuracy and compliance

• Supporting bid submissions and presenting cost plans to internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial interiors or fit-out

• Strong understanding of CAT A and CAT B projects

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills

• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Excel, Bluebeam, ConQuest, or similar)

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tenders under pressure and to tight deadlines

• A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
