About the Role
The Estimator will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across London and the South East.
Working closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams, the Estimator will analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to compile detailed cost plans. The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple tenders simultaneously.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects
Reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications
Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and value engineering options
Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings as required
Working closely with the commercial and project teams to ensure cost accuracy and compliance
Supporting bid submissions and presenting cost plans to internal stakeholders

Requirements
Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial interiors or fit-out
Strong understanding of CAT A and CAT B projects
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Excel, Bluebeam, ConQuest, or similar)
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to manage multiple tenders under pressure and to tight deadlines
A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
