Glue Minder

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Multi-Point Glue Machine Minder to join a well established manufacturing company based in Godmanchester. This is a permanent opportunity with a well-established, family-owned business that specialises in innovative packaging solutions and continues to expand its operations across Europe.

This role would suit someone with a background in operating complex gluing machinery and a commitment to high-quality production, minimal waste, and continuous improvement. You will be working in a fast-paced, supportive production environment where your skills and experience will be highly valued.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate folder gluer machinery
• Maintain optimal machine speed and efficiency while achieving high-quality output
• Perform make-readies to support OEE targets and minimal downtime
• Follow job instructions and client specifications to ensure compliance
• Identify material issues and communicate proactively with the production team
• Lead assistants/packers and ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area (5S standards)
• Conduct basic maintenance

Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' experience with gluing machines
• Excellent problem-solving ability and root cause analysis skills
• Comfortable working with technical documentation and process controls
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude, flexible approach, and willingness to learn other machinery
• Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently
