Job Description The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water's region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure. Leading the core technical input through SPA Discipline Heads (System, Process, Mechanical, EICA, Civil Infra and Non-Infra, CAD, Geotech, Quality, Carbon) across a significant programme of major potable water transfer projects (total value £1,800M) Work collaboratively with the Head of Engineering, Design Manager and Senior Designers to understand design need. Senior Electrical Engineer - Projects Our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas operator, is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a full time, permanent position, based in Wareham (Wytch Farm). Qualifications & Experience Required: BEng Electrical or appropriate Engineering Discipline. Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with extensive knowledge of project/modification execution and plant operations. Strong awareness of electrical discipline industry standards and the ability to apply them in practice. Develop and maintain design project management documentation to ensure that the project is delivered in line with quality standards, on time and to budget Lead interactions with the Quality Assurance team who will be responsible for responding to requests for information, conducting contractor design reviews, reviewing changes proposed by the contractor and then reviewing compliance with specifications at installation, commissioning and handover to ensure that the design intent is achieved at handover of the system. Mentor and develop Graduate Engineers, ensuring the upskilling and knowledge growth of these individuals. The Person Essential BEng or MEng degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years design experience within building services engineering / energy / heat networks / hydraulic system design. Chartered engineer with the Engineering Council note relevant experience would be acceptable with a view to attaining Chartership in short term Knowledge of Communal and District Heating network design, construction and operation Desirable Direct experience of designing and delivering retrofit works within a range of existing building typologies (public sector, commercial etc.).
