Our client is a rapidly growing energy infrastructure firm at the forefront of the U.S. power transition. With a national footprint and a reputation for engineering excellence, they specialize in delivering high-performance solutions across transmission, distribution, and clean energy generation.

As they expand their technical leadership team, we're seeking a Director of Engineering to lead critical infrastructure projects and guide next-generation solutions that are shaping the future of power.

As the Director of Engineering, you'll take ownership of engineering strategy, execution, and innovation across a portfolio that includes utility-scale T&D systems, grid modernization, and renewable energy integration. You'll work closely with executive leaders, clients, and project teams to ensure delivery is technically sound, future-focused, and scalable.

This is a strategic leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and brings a deep technical background in power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow multi-disciplinary engineering teams across the U.S.

  • Direct technical design and delivery of large-scale energy infrastructure projects.

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.

  • Champion engineering best practices, QA/QC processes, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate on preconstruction planning, budgeting, and design reviews.

  • Stay ahead of regulatory trends, emerging technologies, and grid innovation opportunities.

What You Bring:

  • 10-15+ years of engineering experience in energy, utilities, or power infrastructure.

  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale T&D, substation, or generation projects.

  • Strong understanding of power systems, renewable integration, and utility coordination.

  • Licensed PE or ability to obtain.

  • Leadership experience across multi-site engineering teams.

  • Comfortable interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Why Join This Company?

  • Nationally recognized energy player with a bold growth trajectory.

  • Strong financial backing and a project pipeline that spans conventional and renewable assets.

  • Culture built on collaboration, innovation, and professional development.

  • Opportunity to have a seat at the table during a pivotal industry transformation.
