Full Stack Java Developer

A global retail systems innovator has engaged with Uneek to help secure a Mid-Senior Full Stack Java Developer. This exciting opportunity will require you to participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from requirements capture through to deployment and support.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to deliver develop web-based applications
• Evaluate software libraries and technologies
• Design and implement software to address customer needs and pain points
• Unit, integration and regression testing
• Maintenance & support of released software

Required Experience

• Expert in full stack development using Java 8 & JavaScript programming languages
• Experienced in designing & deploying complex cloud applications, ideally using GCP
• Spring Framework, Maven and React libraries
• Relational databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Web protocols such as REST API, WebSocket

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Location: Hybrid/Remote in Birmingham
Interview process: Two stages including a very short technical and cultural fit test.
