Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Children's Manager to oversee the care and well-being of children in our facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all care plans are implemented effectively while providing leadership to our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in child care and will be committed to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the children's care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Administer medication as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of caregivers, fostering a positive environment that encourages professional development.
• Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care for each child.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and participate in audits as necessary.
• Promote a culture of compassion and respect within the care home, ensuring that each child feels valued and supported.

• Qualifications

• Must have Level 5 in Childcare Residential Childcare or working towards
• Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising staff within a nursing home or assisted living environment.
• Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and senior care best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of care provision.
• A caring attitude towards children and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life through effective management practices.

Until Ofsted Registration Completion - £36k

Unqualified and Experienced £37,500

Qualified and Experienced £40k

Must have level 5 in Childrens Residential Care or working towards

9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

On call rota
