Accounts Semi Senior / Accountant

Our client is a small, well established accountancy firm and they are now looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior / Accountant to join their friendly team. Flexible working is an option for the right person and a clear career path to partner level is possible if you have the ambition!

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships & Ltd Companies
• Liaise with our client base in order to manage your own portfolio.
• Manage financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff fostering their professional development.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis efforts.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC and assist in the preparation of VAT & Tax returns.
