Job Description
Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of their client for a Skilled Injection Mould Condition Setter with a driven and ambitious attitude.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a technical team in a busy and fast paced injection moulding shop floor environment. The company operates a 24/7 production schedule with 16 injection moulding machines including Negri Bossi, Engel and BMB ranging from (Apply online only) ton press size.
Role & responsibilities:
- Carrying out mould tool changes as per daily schedule (avg 5-8 tool changes per day)
- Process and adapt conditions to produce quality approved components
- Complete settings paperwork
- Use of overhead gantry
- Use of robots to include six axis robots
- Responsible for Health and Safety procedures while setting the machines
- Ensuring and assisting in always maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Handling of heavy and expensive tooling
The successful candidate will need to be competent in process knowledge as well as a good understanding of automation and technical trouble shooting.
Working hours and pay
- Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5.00pm (However, the demands of the business may require you to stay on until 5:30pm+ so flexibility is essential).
- Overtime will be paid over and above the normal contracted hours of 47.5 hrs per week
- Salary between 34k - 38k per annum - this is dependent on experience.
Other information
You will be required to join an on-call rota after the initial 3-month training.
