You'll be joining a supportive team focused on maintaining vehicles to the highest standards, backed by ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities of a HGV Technician

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance, servicing, and inspections
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on HGVs using the latest tools
  • Work efficiently to manufacturers' timeframes and quality standards
  • Support colleagues with complex technical issues as needed
  • Document all work completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment

Skills and Qualifications for a HGV Technician

Essential

  • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience post-apprenticeship
  • Previous work experience in a franchised dealership environment

Desirable

  • HGV Class 1 or 2 licence
  • IRTEC accreditation
