Sustainability Project Manager Data Centre West London

We are currently partnering with a dynamic, fast-growing company at the forefront of designing and delivering cutting-edge, sustainable digital infrastructure. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Sustainability Project Manager to join their team in West London.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement the Project s Sustainability Strategy

Lead the integration of sustainability objectives from design through construction, aligning with client ESG targets and certifications such as BREEAM, LEED, or local UK sustainability frameworks.

  • Carbon Management and Reporting

Coordinate whole-life carbon assessments (embodied and operational), set carbon reduction targets, and oversee reporting in line with UK regulations and client expectations, including compliance with frameworks like the London Plan and GLA requirements.

  • Design Team and Contractor Engagement

Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to influence material selection, energy modelling, and systems design ensuring sustainability is embedded without compromising performance or programme.

  • Certification and Compliance Oversight

Manage the end-to-end process of achieving sustainability certifications (e.g. BREEAM Excellent), ensuring documentation, tracking, and deliverables are completed on time and verified by the relevant assessors.

  • Client and Stakeholder Communication

Act as the primary sustainability interface for the client, delivering progress updates, coordinating internal ESG alignment, and translating technical sustainability goals into clear business benefits for stakeholders.

Requirements

Must have 3+ years previous experience working Client side or Consultancy side on large scale construction projects

Must have 3+ years experience in a similar role

Data Centre experience is preferred

Benefits

Up to £85,000 per annum + Benefits (20% bonus)
