The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager (Building Services) to join the operational team on a mechanical installation & upgrade (£9 million M&E) at a hospital incorporating de-steaming, heat pumps, boiler house replacement etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the mechanical installation from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, sub-contractors, trades etc. ensuring communication is clear, responsive, and professional throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to ensure quality standards and compliance.
  • Monitor project progress, address challenges proactively, and ensure all reporting and documentation is maintained accurately.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld across all stages of the project.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager within building services or the renewable energy sector.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and building services. Some electrical awareness is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Any experience working within a hospital environment or working with renewable energy projects is an advantage
