iOS Developer

WorkPal is a cloud-based field service management software allowing both online and offline working, designed to bring field service operations into the digital era.

We have over 13 year's experience under our belt and having achieved multiple industry awards, together with our recently announced investment of £1 million over a 2 year period, we are excited to grow our business further and are looking for iOS Developers (Swift) to help us on our journey.

We love what we do at WorkPal, behind our software solutions is a close-knit team of dedicated engineers and designers, delivering results for our clients.

To work exclusively on our native Swift iOS App, along with the rest of the development team, to create new features, troubleshoot issues, and continually improve the product.

• Triaging and helping with support issues
• Diagnosing bugs and fixing them
• Collaborating on tickets with other developers
• Diagnosing and fixing performance issues in the app
• Reviewing the tickets of fellow developers, with comprehensive testing, and feedback
• Writing automated tests for the features you have worked on

• Ability to write clean, reusable code and have a passion for mobile development
• Problem-solving and creating solutions
• Swift & Xcode
• Swift UI
• JSON
• Experience using REST APIs
• Core Data and SQLite
• Experience in App Store Deployment and Testflight
• Solid communication skills and team-working capability
• Have excellent attention to detail
• PHP knowledge/MySQL knowledge (for API calls)
• Firebase (particularly Push Notifications and Crashlytics)
• Knowledge or experience of Android/Kotlin
• Automated/Unit Testing
  
• Preferably based in Northern Irelan/Ireland
