Our clients' practice in Norwich is seeking an experienced Weekend Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing practice with an increasing caseload.

Job Role:

The successful candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, competent and confident in all areas of Small Animal GP.

The role involves working 15 hours each week, 9am-6pm on Saturdays and 10:30am-4:30pm on Sundays.

There is flexibility for a Saturday only Vet for the right candidate.

There is no sole charge and no out of hours at the practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a weekend only role in a supportive and well-regarded practice.

What the Practice Offers:

Salary range £48,000 - £65,000 FTE p/a - reflective of skills and experience

Flexible CPD allowance with Min. £1,000 of CPD per annum and support towards a certificate (limit not capped)

5.6 weeks initial holiday, rising to 6.6 weeks after 2 years' service (Plus an additional day off for your birthday)

Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS)

Sick Pay after 1 year increases with the length of employment

The practice has been serving the community for over 20 years. It is a large, small animal first opinion practice, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, slit lamp, gonioscope, tonometry, orthopaedic kit, multi parameter units for theatre and full in-house lab. The practice prides itself on its experienced team, clinical freedom, and commitment to continual improvement through regular clinical meetings, journal club, and CPD.
