About the Role

An established and respected construction contractor specialising in luxury bespoke homes and high-end commercial projects is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering unique and prestigious builds across Perthshire, Fife, Edinburgh, the Borders, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects from subcontract procurement through to final accounts

  • Prepare accurate valuations, track variations, and oversee subcontractor payments

  • Maintain tight cost control and forecasting, ensuring commercial compliance throughout project lifecycles

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including design and site operations

  • Produce detailed cost reports and maintain strong project documentation

  • Contribute to continual improvement of commercial processes and mentor junior staff

What You ll Bring
  • Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

  • 5 10+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within bespoke residential or main contracting

  • Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts

  • Proficient in cost management software and Excel

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset

  • Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
