The Solutions Engineer will join our pre-sales Design team, collaborating closely with the wider team and Sales to develop technical solutions for clients. A key requirement is foundational Cyber Security product knowledge to support the Sales team in creating documentation for transitional business. The role involves engaging with clients and prospects to promote our solutions and their business benefits, as well as supporting Solution Architects in crafting detailed technical solutions aligned with client objectives.

This role is an excellent entry point for individuals with technical and client-facing experience seeking to develop a career in consulting.

Main activities, tasks & duties

  • Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and design appropriate limited-scope technology solutions.
  • Articulate solutions and business value through client meetings and produce clear documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted solutions advisor.
  • Utilize vendor pricing and design tools, working with internal stakeholders on commercial aspects.
  • Assist with scope management for renewals.
  • Conduct workshops and technology showcases demonstrating the value of proposed solutions.
  • Support Solution Architects in preparing and delivering workshops and showcases.

  • Knowledge of Cyber Security vendors, especially Cisco and Palo Alto, and industry trends
