About the Role

Wayman Education is seeking a highly committed and passionate English Teacher to join an established English department at an outstanding graded school in Croydon, South London. This full-time position offers the opportunity to teach a rich, varied, and exciting curriculum to KS3 & 4 students, whether you are a seasoned English Teacher or a Newly Qualified English Teacher.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons to KS3 & 4 students
2. Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English department's effectiveness
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and curriculum developments

Qualifications and Experience

1. Degree in English
2. PGCE or QTS
3. Proven experience teaching English to KS3 & 4 students
