Job Title - Network Projects Manager

Department/Sector - Logistics

Salary - £40k - £45k

Our client is recruiting a Project Manager to support all aspects of their Networks Team operations.

They have ambitious plans to expand into new international territories, and this role is critical in ensuring that all necessary processes and procedures are both established and adhered to.

In the role, you will work with all necessary internal and external parties to plan timelines and ensure they are met, troubleshooting any issues.

This is a varied role, requiring you to develop strong communication links with a number of internal departments.

Our client is looking for someone with procurement or supplier management experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting all Networks Team activities as required in rolling out the new territories.
  2. Troubleshooting and problem-solving any integration, vendor, or technology-related issues.
  3. Liaising with the relevant internal/external contacts as required.
  4. Focusing on technology and throughput of booking information.
  5. Managing a diary of events effectively to ensure all actions are carried out in a timely manner.
  6. Troubleshooting new vendor teething problems during the initial set-up phase.
  7. Managing a portfolio of work effectively and prioritizing tasks as necessary.
  8. Producing regular updates, reports, and schedules for all involved parties as required.
  9. Foreseeing potential integration issues and commercial speed bumps and planning accordingly.
  10. Supporting Vendor Managers and the Head of Implementation/Customer Experience with any other tasks as required.

Key Skills/Experience Needed:

  1. Experience of working in a start-up/new business environment.
  2. A successful track record of project management.
  3. An ability to think creatively and problem-solve within challenging timescales.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Task-focused and results-driven.
  6. Strong written skills, including the ability to write reports and correspondence to keep all parties informed.
