Role: Senior Data Analyst

Client: Hexagon EMEA

Location and dedication: UK-based preferred, ideally commutable to Cobham. Flexibility on start time ( 10am) and work hours (to 6-7pm) is appreciated.

Overview: The candidate will support the lead Marketing Analytics manager with daily tasks. Strong skills in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and SQL are essential. Experience with visualization tools like PowerBI is a plus. The role requires project prioritization and effective communication with stakeholders.

  • PowerPoint - 5
Responsibilities
  • Ensure all tags in Google Tag Manager fire correctly and are GDPR compliant. Implement new tags, enhance existing ones, with preferred experience in custom JavaScript.
  • Use SQL to create and improve tables; experience with Google BigQuery is preferred.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines integrating various data sources.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, including Google platform updates.
  • Assist in creating and enhancing dashboards in PowerBI.
  • Format dashboard data into visually appealing PowerPoint slides.
Hard Skills

DAX (PowerBI), SQL (GBQ), data modeling, data wrangling, data cleaning, custom JavaScript for GTM, GA4, understanding ETL pipelines, data warehousing, campaign tracking, familiarity with paid media reporting APIs (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, 6sense, Demandbase), server-side tagging, CDP, and experience with Tealium IQ.

Soft Skills

Reliability, proficiency in PowerPoint, scheduling meetings (Outlook, Teams), stakeholder management, communication, storytelling with data, proactive trend and anomaly identification.

  • Ability to fill execution gaps and potentially lead strategic initiatives in marketing data.
