We re working with a well-established manufacturer in North Manchester known for engineering niche products for the military, medical and sport & leisure industries.

They re now on the hunt for a Quality Manager to join their team. Whilst you ll enjoy a hands on role you ll also bring structure, drive continuous improvement and build a stronger, smarter quality process from the ground up.

About You
- You ll have a strong background in Quality whether than be as a Senior Quality Technician, Quality Team Leader or Manager
- You ll have a manufacturing background, ideally within textiles or chemicals
- You ll be systems savvy and used to reporting
- You ll stay calm under pressure and be happy working independently
- It goes without saying that you ll be a real people person; friendly, down-to-earth, and a strong team player
- You re proud of your standards and not afraid to own them
About the Role
- As the Quality Manager, you ll be managing and issuing manufacturing specs and instructions
- Overseeing daily QC across production and inspection
- Leading internal audits and ISO 9001 compliance
- Maintaining environmental and operational reporting for external partners
- Risk assessment and reporting
- Supporting lab testing and reporting on technical trials
- Creating clear, practical systems and procedures and rolling out to the wider team
- Driving a culture of quality across the site
