About the RoleFourth Monkey is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time Admissions & Outreach Coordinator.
This role plays a crucial part in our student journey, focusing on direct and UCAS application processes; liaising with our validating partner, Falmouth University; onboarding students; organising
induction; and providing admissions reports to senior management. The Admissions & Outreach Coordinator will also work closely with our Access & Participation team to track applications from both our Further Education and industry partners, whilst coordinating the programming of our extensive
access and participation programmes supporting our Ambassador team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills. An interest in performing arts is beneficial.
This role is about supporting equitable access to Higher Education.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating the year-round admissions process, ensuring timely and
accurate processing of applications
- Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the
application process
- Building and maintaining positive, productive relationships with our
partners at Falmouth University and UCAS
- Coordinate onboarding and induction activities for new students, ensuring
a smooth transition into Higher Education arts training
- Reporting data and recognising trends
- Providing guidance and support to prospective students, helping them
navigate logistical and administrative tasks in preparation for enrolment
- Monitoring applicant progress and identify those in need of additional
support, referring them to appropriate resources
- Handling sensitive and confidential data in an appropriate manner
- Recording and submitting moderated audition feedback and reports
- Programming outreach delivery, travel and accommodation where
necessary supporting our ambassador team and the Head of Department in
liaising with key stakeholders and partners
GENERAL
- Maintaining accurate records of student information and admissions data
- Collaborate with other Fourth Monkey staff to enhance the overall student
experience
- Participate in recruitment events, audition days, open days, and other
relevant activities
REQUIRED
At least 2 years' experience of working in an academic services role ideally within a Higher Education institution
Educated to degree level, or relevant qualification
Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) systems
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Microsoft Teams and incorporated operating software
Demonstrable rigour in reporting and administrative management
Demonstrable experience in contracting and budget management
