Are you a forward-thinking HR professional who thrives on driving change and leading impactful people strategies? Mecca is seeking a dynamicHR Project & Business Partnerto join our People Team and take the lead on shaping high-impact HR initiatives across our vibrant bingo business.

In this pivotal position, you'll partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic HR projects that align with our business objectives. From end-to-end project leadership to fostering a high-performing and inclusive culture, your work will directly influence employee engagement, operational excellence, and organisational transformation.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and deliver strategic projects and functional change programmes that are commercial, and people focussed across Mecca.
  • Working end-to-end with all stakeholders and Centres of Excellence, while incorporating external best practice.
  • The strategic ability to tailor to requirements, outline deliverables, milestones, critical path items and actions.
  • Strategically partner with senior leaders across support and operations teams
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support implementation of surveys and follow-up actions
  • Collaborate with Centres of Excellence and external partners to incorporate best practice
  • Coach and guide leaders on employment matters, policies, and legal compliance
  • Lead presentations, reporting and insights for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the delivery of Mecca's People & Culture strategy and deputise for the People Director as needed
  • Ensure adherence to the highest standards of CSR, EDI, compliance, and regulatory requirement
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in HR, with a solid understanding of employment law.
  • Proven experience working in HR within fast-paced environments such as retail, leisure, or hospitality.
  • Proven ability to partner at a senior level and drive strategic people initiatives
  • Skilled in change management and fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, able to align HR and business priorities
  • Comfortable operating in a matrix environment and challenging the status quo constructively
  • Experience across core HR disciplines including recruitment, L&D, reward, and employee relations
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing abilities
  • CIPD qualification desirable
