We are seeking a Product Technologist to join the Product Engineering team at Burberry.

• Possess multi-product experience, including knowledge of yarns and knitwear testing procedures.
• Support raw materials from development through to industrialization (bulk).
• Help reduce issues at bulk stage and improve quality to meet Burberry standards.
• Assess raw materials during collection development and highlight production risks.
• Identify opportunities for cost engineering improvements.
• Manage fitting evaluations within the designated category and communicate amendments to manufacturers.
• Oversee garment testing processes internally and with laboratories.
• Manage blocks and define constructional quality standards.
• Ensure conformance to standards and safety regulations.
• Improve and establish product standards within the Raw Material Matrix.
• Guarantee consistency in FIT and quality.
• Resolve test failures and provide technical solutions without compromising product aesthetics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product development, sourcing/production, and manufacturers.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Textile Technology or Textile Chemistry, with at least 5 years of experience as a Product Technologist in manufacturing or retail.
• Extensive experience in materials development or manufacturing.
• Understanding of product testing and test methods.
• Knowledge of construction and manufacturing methods.
• Experience with product safety and risk assessments in menswear and womenswear.
• Familiarity with testing processes and test report approvals.
• Proficiency in PLM/PDM, MS Office, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with patterns, grading, and fits.
• Ability to influence and manage situations effectively.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and focus workload.
• Pragmatic, commercially aware, and realistic, without compromising Burberry standards.
