Quantity Surveyor (Project Lead)
The Company
Since the early 2000's, this contractor has carved themselves into the heavy refurbishment/complex cut & carve market as one of the trusted go-to names to deliver these schemes. Typical schemes would be manipulating existing buildings to make them bigger, better, more efficient, etc. This makes up 75% of their portfolio; the other 25% will fall into the High End Hospitality sector (Hotel, Residential & Museums/Art Galleries) up to £90m in project value.
The Role
The role is going to see you involved from early stages, leading the tender stage (whether this is a competitive 2-stage or negotiated contract), managing the pre-construction process through the PCSA period through to securing the contract and so forth. As the project lead, you would see yourself leading a team of Project QS's and Assistant QS's, reporting into a Team Lead.
The Project would be based in the West End, and the current value sits at £65m.
