SAP Consultant (legal requirements)

Legal SAP Consultant - UK & Ireland

We are seeking a Legal SAP Consultant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA Financial Modules and local tax regulations for UK and Ireland. The role involves advising project teams on legal and financial compliance, supporting system configuration decisions, and ensuring adherence to local statutory requirements during SAP rollout projects.

Responsibilities include:

1. Advising project teams on legal and financial regulations relevant to SAP implementation in the UK and Ireland.
2. Documenting legal and tax requirements for SAP compliance during rollout phases.
3. Conducting gap analysis between global SAP templates and local laws.
4. Providing expert advice on SAP configuration to meet legal standards without direct implementation.
5. Supporting legal compliance workshops and facilitating stakeholder communication.
6. Reviewing and clarifying legal requirements and assisting in system configuration clarifications.
7. Transferring legal and financial knowledge to project teams and supporting during system customization.
8. Identifying legal and tax compliance risks in SAP configurations.

Requirements:

1. Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Financial Modules, especially FI and tax functionalities.
2. Familiarity with VAT, statutory reporting, and e-invoicing requirements for the UK and Ireland.
3. Understanding of local fiscal rules, including VAT handling and regulatory frameworks.
4. Experience with electronic reporting standards like Spesometro, Esterometro, and Intrastat.
5. Proven experience in adapting SAP templates to local legal and fiscal requirements.
6. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulations and translate them into SAP needs.
7. Ability to work effectively with both functional and technical teams.
8. Excellent communication skills in English.
