Business Development Manager - Field-based - R.E.S Distribution

Ideally based from Central England

As a Business Development Manager in this field based role covering the UK you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging and visiting independent merchants and business owners to help them grow their revenue by expanding into renewable technologies.

  • Demonstrating how the R.E.S business model supports from initial enquiry through to project completion.

  • Promoting our full range of renewable solutions - including heat pumps, underfloor heating, solar PV, EV chargers, and MVHR.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across your territory.

  • Collaborating with the wider R.E.S team by supporting trade mornings, delivering training sessions and participating in other customer engagement activities.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

And here's what we'd like you to have:

  • A proven track record in business development, ideally within the renewable sector.

  • Solid understanding of the independent merchant market, with hands-on experience working directly with merchants and business owners

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role

  • Ideally based in Central England to ensure effective coverage of the territory

  • A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel nationwide as needed
