We're currently looking for a Senior Insights Support Officer on a full time, 12-month fixed term contract basis.
This position will be supporting a maternity cover role and sits within the Policy and Insights team, based in our London Office, although we are flexible on the location of this role.
The Job
Reporting to the Insights Support Manager, on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:
Actively managing the governance and operational processes for the delivery of thought leadership activities as detailed in P&I's operational plans
Actively managing the team support processes, ensuring that they are fit-for-purpose and effectively meet the needs of the team
Managing the process for contract provision within the team in conjunction with the other insight support team members
Managing the end-to-end process for P&I-led surveys, working in partnership with others to deliver an achievable annual schedule
As part of the insights support team, providing support and cover when required on policy development
Ensuring that all team management information is accurate and readily available including appropriate flagging of risks and issues
Managing an effective review process for research output
Assisting with the team financial and strategic planning to ensure that elements of operational delivery are considered in both detailed team and wider annual business planning
Providing support to the business to maximise the impact of thought leadership activities through engagement and information sharing.
The Person
We're looking for someone who:
Has an understanding of the role of professional bodies, or knowledge of accountancy advantageous
Is an excellent communicator with influencing skills, including working with senior level staff
Has excellent analytical/numeracy skills with the ability to interpret and clearly present information to enable effective decision making
Is highly organised, logical and methodical approach to work with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
Is able to identify risks, understand potential impacts and know when to escalate
Has experience in developing and implementing process improvements
Has experience of successfully engaging with senior internal stakeholders to gather information and understand requirements
Experience working in a professional body or membership organisation, or the not-for-profit sector would be advantageous.
