What does it take to be a?Restoration Technician? To be successful in this role you'll need to be educated to GCSE level and ideally be NRSWA accredited and hold an NVQ in distribution control, customer service or leakage control. It would be advantageous if you have a relevant PPM qualification, however training can be provided. Previous frontline operational experience and a good knowledge of operational activities combined with an understanding of hydraulics would be preferable. Strong customer service facing skills are invaluable; alongside excellent communications skills both written and verbal are essential.
