This is a long-term contract position working either days or 4 on / 4 off days/nights. Requirements: Minimum NVQ Level 2/3 qualification Proven experience servicing and repairing Road Vacuum Tankers, HGVs, CAT Wheel Loaders, FLTs and Dumper Loading Trucks. Routine Maintenance Diagnosing / fault finding Previous experience essential Driving license required This role offers both day shifts (M-F, 40 hours) and 12-hour shifts (4 days/4 nights, including weekends). My client is looking for an experienced Workshop Technician who will maintain and repair Waste Vacuum Tankers, HGV's, trailers and other tanker types. You must be HGV trained but tanker experience is not essential as all training will be given. Time served experience working with tankers, HGV types (including trucks and trailers) would be an advantage, however similar fields to road tanker would be considered. You will be responsible for inspecting, service and repair tankers (primarily vacuum waste tankers) to a high maintenance standard.
