A Chester-based energy consultancy is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Energy Assessor to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a professional looking to apply their skills in a supportive, forward-thinking environment focused on sustainability and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting energy assessments for non-domestic and/or domestic buildings
• Producing accurate EPCs using industry-standard software
• Completing assessments in line with SBEM methodology (for NDEA roles)
• Providing expert advice to clients on improving energy efficiency
• Maintaining accurate records and submitting completed reports on time
• Liaising with clients and ensuring a high level of customer service

Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified as a Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA Level 3/4) and/or Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
• Strong understanding of SBEM software and methodology (e.g. DesignBuilder, iSBEM)
• Experience with EPC software
• Retrofit Assessor certification is desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence and own transport required
• Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
