Job Title: Semi Senior Accountant
Location: Blythe Bridge, Stoke-on-Trent (Hybrid 1 day in office, 2 from home)
Pay Rate: £36,000 £42,000 (pro rata, depending on qualifications)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Part-time, 3 days a week (flexible, term-time only available)

At Hunters 4 Staff, we re working with a growing business in Blythe Bridge that s looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their small, friendly team. This is a part-time, hybrid role with the potential to grow into full-time if desired. Ideal for someone returning to work or looking for a role that fits around family life.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare bookkeeping, management accounts, payroll, tax returns, year-end financials, budgets, and cashflows
• Review and supervise the work of trainee staff
• Report directly to the company director
• Dive into the detail, not just doing the books, but understanding the business behind them
• Support a consultative, client-focused approach

What We re Looking For:

• AAT qualified (ACA preferred for higher end of salary band)
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential
• Strong working knowledge of Xero (must be confident using it independently)
• Solid bookkeeping skills and the ability to analyse financial data in context
