A leading property and sustainability consultancy based in Cheshire is currently seeking a qualified Energy Assessor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a company dedicated to driving energy efficiency and sustainability across residential and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct domestic and/or non-domestic energy assessments across various property types.
  • Complete and submit accurate Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).
  • Carry out SAP, SBEM, DEA, or OCDEA assessments in line with government regulations.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on energy efficiency improvements and regulatory compliance.
  • Keep up to date with legislation and industry developments.
  • Liaise with architects, developers, and project stakeholders during various phases of design and construction.
  • Ensure all assessments and documentation meet the required accreditation standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) and/or Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA).
  • OCDEA accreditation is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using software such as Elmhurst, Stroma, or NHER.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Cheshire and the surrounding area.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects independently.
