A leading property and sustainability consultancy based in Cheshire is currently seeking a qualified Energy Assessor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a company dedicated to driving energy efficiency and sustainability across residential and commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct domestic and/or non-domestic energy assessments across various property types.
- Complete and submit accurate Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).
- Carry out SAP, SBEM, DEA, or OCDEA assessments in line with government regulations.
- Provide expert advice to clients on energy efficiency improvements and regulatory compliance.
- Keep up to date with legislation and industry developments.
- Liaise with architects, developers, and project stakeholders during various phases of design and construction.
- Ensure all assessments and documentation meet the required accreditation standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) and/or Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA).
- OCDEA accreditation is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using software such as Elmhurst, Stroma, or NHER.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Cheshire and the surrounding area.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects independently.
