Sous Chef, 4 Hotel, Pitlochry, Scotland 33k + tronc, accommodation available
Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and passionate chef to step up to their first Sous Chef position.
This small, luxury hotel provides outstanding modern Scottish food with a classical influence. All food (including ice creams, stocks, bread etc) is made fresh and on site. With a small kitchen team, this is an ideal role for an enthusiastic and ambitious Chef de Partie to step up to a Sous Chef role.
What you will be doing:
Supporting the running of the kitchen and ensuring all food produced is of the high standard expected
Involvement in all aspects of menu writing, ordering, organisation, prep and service
Working as part of a small team covering all areas including washing up
Working hours are 5/7 days, 48hrs per week - Two consecutive days and nights off per week (very predictable)

A passionate Chef de Partie looking for a first Sous Chef position in a small 2 AA rosette kitchen
A real team player
Someone genuinely passionate about exceptional food and ingredients with a keen interest in foraging
An eye for detail and presentation
Flexible and willing with a positive, can do attitude and a keenness to learn
