Maintenance Engineer Multi-Skilled

Location: Nelson
Salary: Starting at £52,000 - £54,000, increasing after probation completed.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (42-hour average week) 2 weeks of days, followed by 2 weeks of nights (Please ask for the visual pattern.)

We re proud to be partnered with a expanding, industry-leading FMCG manufacturer in Nelson, and we re looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their high-performing engineering team.

This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, technically advanced operation where you ll be at the heart of keeping production lines moving and improving every day.

What You ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on pumps, conveyors, and packaging machinery

• Responding to breakdowns and ensuring minimum downtime

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency

• Working collaboratively within a skilled engineering team

• Helping shape a proactive, solutions-driven maintenance culture

What You ll Bring:

• A Level 3 qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering

• Solid experience in both mechanical fitting and electrical fault finding

• A background in manufacturing, ideally food, drink, or packaging

• A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
