Job Title: Service Delivery Manager - Oracle Applications & Infrastructure

Hours: Full time (40-hours per week)

Location: Remote

Reports to: Head of IT & Support

Department: Managed Services & Support

We are seeking a skilled Service Delivery Manager (SDM) with strong experience in managing Oracle applications and infrastructure services. The SDM will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of IT services, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and managing relationships with stakeholders and vendors. This role demands a blend of technical knowledge and operational expertise, with a focus on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Cloud, and underlying infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the end-to-end service delivery for Oracle applications and related infrastructure.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring service levels (SLAs/OLAs) are met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding Oracle service performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, stable, and secure Oracle environments.
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management processes within the Oracle services domain.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee patching, upgrades, and maintenance of Oracle applications and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance and security policies.
  • Produce and present service reports and metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to Oracle support, licensing, and hosting/cloud services.
  • Support project delivery teams to ensure smooth transition to support (service acceptance).
  • Drive innovation and spot opportunities for client improvement across their estate.

The list of key responsibilities is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to undertake other relevant and appropriate duties as reasonably required. Travel should be expected as part of this role.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT service delivery or IT operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and/or Oracle Fusion Applications.
  • Proven ability to manage and support complex Oracle environments (on-prem and/or cloud).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure components supporting Oracle systems
  • Experience with ITIL practices, preferably ITIL-certified.
  • Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors and support teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL v4 Certification
  • Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate, Oracle DBA, or Oracle Apps DBA)
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare)
