Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. This is a critical role where you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of our cutting-edge AI-driven platform. We emphasize code quality, robust architecture, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. You will be expected to take ownership of significant projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Design, develop, and test high-quality, maintainable, and scalable Python code for our platform.
• Code Quality: Champion code quality best practices, including thorough testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with researchers, quantitative analysts, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
• Technical Leadership: Contribute to the technical vision and strategy of the team, identifying areas for improvement and driving innovation.
• Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges and develop creative solutions.
• Shipping Products: Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully shipping software products to production.

Requirements

• Extensive Software Engineering Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality software products.
• Strong Python Skills: Excellent proficiency in Python programming.
• Focus on Code Quality: A deep understanding of software engineering principles and a passion for writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Product Delivery Experience: Demonstrated experience of successfully taking software projects from conception to production. Be prepared to discuss specific examples during the interview process.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
