The Role

As an Account Manager at Klimato, you will be responsible for managing the customer journey for accounts across our various food industry verticals, including hotels, caterers, and restaurants. You will play a vital role in helping our customers realise the value of our app through measuring, reporting and reducing their food-based environmental footprint. You will contribute to the overall growth of our revenue by proactively identifying opportunities for upsell and expansion.


These are some of your key roles and responsibilities:


Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Understand clients' business needs and goals.


Onboarding & Implementation Support

  • Guide new customers through onboarding and product implementation.
  • Coordinate with technical and support teams to ensure smooth adoption


Account Growth & Retention

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on client needs.
  • Renew contracts and work to minimize churn.
  • Track account health metrics and proactively address risks.


Collaboration & Communication

  • Liaise between the client and internal teams (sales, support, product, science).
  • Communicate customer feedback to influence product improvements


Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor usage data and prepare regular performance reports for clients.
  • Use CRM and account management tools to track interactions and updates.

The practical stuff


We're looking for someone to join us full-time in our London office. We operate on a hybrid working basis and would love to see you in the office 3x a week.


Salary + commission: highly competitive.
