HR Business Partner
Contract: 6 months
Location: London, hybrid with a potential for fully remote
In this job, you will act as the main point of contact in a specific site/location for employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. You will provide guidance on company policies, collaborate with leadership to improve employee satisfaction, and conduct thorough investigations into employee concerns. This role will utilize HR case data to assist in the identification of trends, recommending process improvements and training opportunities for leaders. Additionally, you will assist in developing and delivering HR training programs, maintain accurate employee records, and stay updated on HR best practices to recommend continuous improvements.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all employee relations matters, including employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and fairness.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and concerns.
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with leadership and the HR team to develop and implement strategies and programs aimed at improving employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Conduct investigations into escalated, complex complaints or concerns raised by employees, ensuring timely and thorough resolution.
- Assist in the development and delivery of employee training programs on various HR-related topics, such as diversity and inclusion, harassment
prevention and workplace conduct.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay current on HR best practices and industry trends, making recommendations for continuous improvement to HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor workplace trends and recommend proactive solutions to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on training programs related to performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace conduct.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years as a HR Business Partner or Advisor
- CIPD qualification
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience conducting investigations and managing complex employee issues.
