Key Responsibilities - Define and maintain the overall system and software architecture for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with certification strategies and compliance with industry standards. - Conduct technical discussions with prospective clients, providing product technical oversight, justifying system architecture decisions, understanding customer requirements, and creating tailored engineering solutions. - Leverage in-depth knowledge of system and software modelling, protocols, databases, and complex automation within regulated environments. - Establish and own the technical feasibility and design approaches for all engineering projects, ensuring that all solutions align with organizational goals. - Actively explore new and complementary technologies, engaging with external organizations to foster partnerships and collaborative opportunities. - Provide strategic input to key projects, contributing innovative ideas to align with business and technology strategies as a Principal Systems and Software Architect. - Drive technical leadership in defining processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize system and software development. What We re Looking For - A Doctorate or Master s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Expert knowledge of modern C/C++ for embedded systems, with a strong understanding of MISRA C/C++, JSF, or Google coding standards. - Advanced expertise in SysML and experience with defined Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes. - Proficiency in UML and extensive experience in API development for both internal and public use. - Strong understanding of regulated environments and the ability to apply advanced system and software modeling techniques. - Proven experience as a Principal Systems and Software Architect, with a track record of successful delivery in complex, fast-paced projects.
