MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To provide a site-based product development resource, supporting the development department with NPD, EPD, Value engineering projects as well as other business or customer related projects. My client have a 12 month FTC for a Process Development Technologist to be based at one of their key sites in Merseyside region. During this 12 month period you will have numerous development opportunities, working on numerous projects, shadowing and being mentored by senior stakeholders within Process & Product development, opportunity to see and tour other sites within the group whilst being regularly assessed so that you get the most from this 12 month contract, that can add value for your career long term. You will also be eligible to apply for any internal roles throughout the group from month 6 of your contract. This role will also be suitable to experienced UK based, international candidates who have Food Manufacturing experience and a minimum of 14 months left on their visa. Unfortunately there is no possibility of sponsorship on the completion of this contract. Salary is up to 45k , this will be a site based role that will report into the Head of Process Development. The Role: In this role you will be involved in taking an approved recipe through to launch and be responsible for scaling up, trials, assessing materials, critical path and maintenance of the internal spec system. You will work with a large number of key internal stakeholders, therefore the opportunity to interact on a wide scale will be available to you, which will only improve your overall knowledge & exposure to large scale food manufacturing.
