We are currently recruiting for the position of Youth Activities Counselor for Disney Cruise Line. Responsibilities Interacts with and supervises children by providing a safe and entertaining environment. Provides set-up, clean-up and program support to Youth Entertainment Hosts during facilitated programs and activities. Extensively cleans youth spaces throughout day to uphold United States Public Health and company standards. Meets and greets all guests and could assist with onboard registration and check in/out process. Preps food trays for children during meal or snack periods. Spontaneously entertains large volumes of children in absence of planned activities. Occasionally facilitates and presents smaller-scale activities to groups varying in size, requiring the use of a microphone. Functions as Nursery Counselor during high volume periods. Ensures secured programming policies are followed. Occasionally assists with the Port Adventures (shore excursion) operation. Basic Qualifications/Requirements Minimum 18 months' recent experience working with children in a high-volume, fast-paced environment in recreation, resort, day care, classroom, or before/ after school care setting, OR 3+ seasons (3 months each) of overnight and/or day camp experience. Passion for engaging children in entertaining programs and activities. Schooling in recreation, education, or related field of study focusing on youth preferred. Experience using computers. Good comprehension of the importance of following and maintaining health and sanitation guidelines Ability to be proactive and spontaneously entertain high volumes of children with high energy in the absence of planned activities; relating well to audiences of all ages and sizes Must be able to command the attention of a large group of children, up to 200 children at one time Strong English oral and written communication Strong collaborative skills, organizational skills and detail oriented. Tay Valley Vets is an established, well equipped small animal and equine RCVS accredited practice. Our practice is in beautiful Perthshire, which has been voted the 5 th best place to live in the UK. You will be joining a friendly, dedicated team of vets, supported by a team of amazing skilled and capable RVNs, who keep the days running smoothly and provide an excellent standard of care to all patients. On the small animal side we are fully equipped with: 6 consult rooms, an imaging suite, dental suite including dental x-ray, 2 theatres, endoscope, multiparameter machines and other anaesthetic monitoring equipment, as well as lab equipment allowing in house bloods, urinalysis and cytology. We have visiting specialists for orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. On the equine side we have inpatient work up facilities with stables, stocks and a trot up area. We have digital radiography, ultrasonography, a full range of dental equipment, respiratory scope and an in house laboratory including haematology, biochemistry, SAA and in house cytology. We run gastroscope clinics and have visiting dental specialists. We are looking for an experienced vet to join our single site, purpose built practice. The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a supportive team, building rapport with our long standing client base and thrive on providing a high level of clinical care for our patients.
