Job Description
Unimetals are a metal recycling company, we are looking for a Machine Operator to join our team in Avonmouth. This role will support with loading and unloading of scrap material.
Duties include:
- Ensure vehicles are loaded and unloaded in a safe and proper manner
- Ensure materials are stored in accordance with company policy
- Perform Banksman duties as required
- Ensure daily checks are completed.
- Attend any training courses that the company proposes
- Co-ordinate with other operatives to ensure the correct processing of all loads
- Carry out final inspection of dispatched scrap materials
- Process material to conform with grade specifications as directed
- Ensure the working area is kept in a clean and tidy state at all times
Candidates should have previous experience of operating mobile plant such as; FLT, Loading Shovel, Crane. Refresher training can be provided if your licences have expired. Applicants should be familiar with working in a heavy industry environment, where Safety is our top priority.
