Role: You will be responsible for managing the month end reporting process whilst ensuring that best-practice financial controls are established and monitored on an ongoing basis. You will be working in a fast-paced, high-change environment with regular exposure to the leadership team in a key management role for Group Finance. You will take responsibility for improving and optimising processes, and you will collaborate with stakeholders across the Group to integrate newly acquired entities into the Group process. In carrying out your role, you will ensure engagement across finance and the wider business, as well as reporting on and improving success metrics for the Group Finance team. You will review areas of accounting judgement for the Group ensuring that risks are known and understood. You will lead a monthly balance sheet review which provides oversight of key accounting judgements alongside monitoring of reconciliation controls and other success metrics. You will also take responsibility for ensuring that the Accounts Payable function runs smoothly at including line management of the Accounts Payable Lead and production of Accounts Payable metrics and reporting.
