Machine Learning & AI Engineering Lead London (Hybrid)

We're looking for a "Machine Learning & AI Engineering Lead" to help power Royal Canin's efforts towards a product lead organisation. You'll play a pivotal role in building scalable AI and ML solutions that unlock innovation across our global business.

What you'll do:
- Lead a team of engineers to design and deploy AI/ML and generative AI models
- Architect MLOps and LLMOps pipelines and coach our data science team on scalable, high-quality code
- Monitor model performance, define KPIs, and continuously improve solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional squads to deliver technical products that create real value powered by ML and AI
- Stay sharp-bring in new thinking, tools, and ideas to drive our capability forward
What you'll bring:
- 5-7 years in AI/ML roles (bonus if it's in CPG, retail, or health)
- Line management experience
- Passion for engineering & strong track record of delivering data-driven solutions that stick
- Hands-on experience with AzureML, Databricks, MLOps frameworks & CI/CD
- A strategic, problem-solving mindset and effective communication skills
- A passion for collaboration, coaching, and continuous learning
